Life is the Special Occasion
You woke up today! Let’s celebrate! So many women see wearing jewelry requires a monumental occasion like a wedding, birthday or maybe a job interview. We wear it because we have been told that it’s an example of our devotion or effort made to the occasion, whatever that may be. But let’s talk about what this means when we wear it. How do we feel? We use words like fancy, dressy, pretty or just “put together” to describe what wearing jewelry does for us. So if we use those words and if those feelings are true, then why in the world would we wait for one of those “once in a while” occasions to wear it? WE are the special occasion. YOU are the special occasion. Let’s layer on those shiny necklaces, slip on those earrings, and stack up the bracelets—not for an event, but for you. Step out to the grocery store, PTA meeting or regular old workday and feel all the things that jewelry offers our day-to-day life. Life is the special occasion, my Queens!
